One of my side hobbies when it comes to audio engineering is cutting up songs for use as ringtones on my iPhone. All ringtones come from the best quality sources I could find or purchase.
They have been normalized for maximum volume, cut up to 40 seconds in length, and saved in the custom M4R format for iTunes.
- Simply right-click on the ringtone file you want.
- Save it to your computer.
- Locate the ringtone file on your computer.
- Open iTunes.
- Drag the ringtone file into iTunes (preferably in the Ringtones section).
- Sync normally to your iPhone.
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Sounds, then select your new ringtone.
That’s all there is to it!
